About this Role.

We are looking for Advanced Manufacturing Engineers to support New Product Introduction and manufacturing execution for complex modular systems in the energy, power generation, and data center sectors.

This role is ideal for manufacturing engineers with experience translating engineering designs into production-ready processes, developing BOMs, supporting build documentation, and helping industrialize engineered products. The company’s core products include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Generator Systems, and Modular Data Centers, so experience in any of these areas is highly valuable. BOM development experience is a major plus.

The selected candidates will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to support product readiness, documentation, and production launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction activities from early design through production release.

  • Assist with manufacturing deliverables, including BOM development, routings, tooling requirements, work instructions, and process documentation.

  • Translate engineering designs into clear manufacturing strategies for modular and containerized products.

  • Review designs for manufacturability, assembly efficiency, cost, quality, and production scalability.

  • Support prototype, pilot, and early production builds.

  • Identify manufacturing issues during early builds and help drive corrective actions with engineering and operations teams.

  • Support documentation related to fabrication, assembly, electrical integration, mechanical systems, and quality checks.

  • Collaborate with supply chain and sourcing teams to validate components, lead times, supplier readiness, and material availability.

  • Partner with quality teams to define inspection points, acceptance criteria, and control plans.

  • Support production handoff by ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for use by operations.

  • Assist with manufacturing risk identification related to process complexity, tooling, labor, cost, schedule, safety, and supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, NPI, production engineering, or similar roles.

  • Experience supporting engineered products, industrial equipment, modular systems, power systems, or electromechanical products.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, assembly, production documentation, and build readiness.

  • Experience working with BOMs, routings, work instructions, production documentation, or ERP/MRP-related manufacturing data.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong alignment with U.S.-based teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BESS, energy storage, power generation, generator sets, modular data centers, or containerized power systems.

  • Strong BOM development experience.

  • Experience with high-mix, engineered-to-order manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with NPI phase gates, APQP, PPAP, or similar structured product launch processes.

  • Experience supporting prototype builds, pilot builds, production ramps, or manufacturing handoffs.

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical integration, including switchgear, UPS, inverters, batteries, engines, alternators, cooling systems, or power distribution.

  • Familiarity with UL, NFPA, or other industrial / electrical safety standards is a plus.

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

  • Experience working with U.S.-based manufacturing or engineering teams is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a manufacturing engineer with strong technical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and production. This person should be comfortable reviewing technical information, developing BOMs, supporting manufacturing readiness, and helping teams move products from design into production efficiently.

Experience with BESS, GenSets, Data Centers, modular infrastructure, or complex electromechanical systems will be especially valuable for this role.

Benefits

  • Flexible schedules.

  • Work from anywhere.

  • Highly competitive compensation.

  • Long Term position with growth opportunity.
