This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AD, Program Management CRGTO based in Brazil.
This is a senior program management leadership role focused on delivering complex, strategic initiatives across multiple business units.
You will oversee high-impact programs and portfolios, connecting business strategy with disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
The role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, risk management, organizational change, and hands-on program leadership.
You will guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrix environment, often influencing without direct authority.
A key part of the position is advising senior leadership on portfolio governance, resource optimization, and transformation priorities.
You will also help strengthen program management standards, processes, and best practices across the organization.
The role is fully remote in Brazil, with occasional travel and collaboration across a global, highly regulated environment.
Accountabilities:* Lead complex, strategic programs and projects from concept through successful delivery, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Manage portfolios of high-value initiatives, including programs with multi-million-dollar budgets and significant business or revenue impact.
Build, guide, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and effective execution.
Establish and maintain program governance, including stage-gate processes, portfolio reviews, reporting, and decision-making frameworks.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing clear recommendations on program progress, priorities, resources, risks, and business outcomes.
Optimize resources across programs and portfolios while balancing strategic priorities, timelines, budgets, and organizational capacity.
Drive strategic, digital, and operating model transformation initiatives, supporting organizational change management activities.
Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, business cases, financial analyses, and other program-level financial requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while proactively addressing issues and developing effective solutions.
Apply appropriate project and program management methodologies, adapting Agile and other approaches to the needs of individual initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders across a matrix organization, building alignment and influencing decisions without relying on direct authority.
Standardize and continuously improve program management practices, tools, processes, and methodologies across the organization.
Ensure effective communication and reporting throughout the program lifecycle, from operational teams to executive leadership.
Advanced degree plus 6 years of relevant program/project management experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of program/project management experience, preferably in regulated environments.
Degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional programs from initial concept through delivery.
Experience managing strategic transformations, including digital and operating model transformation initiatives.
Proven experience overseeing portfolios with multi-million-dollar budgets and significant financial or revenue impact.
Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, governance frameworks, and stage-gate processes.
PMP certification is preferred.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business case development.
Experience with project management and portfolio tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and PPM platforms.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to tailor delivery approaches according to project requirements.
Experience working in matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational, analytical, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience building and developing high-performing teams.
Experience in regulated environments, including GMP and FDA-related settings, is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant project/program management technologies.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable program priorities.
Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
