This role will be critical in improving existing workflows, clearing backlogs, and supporting a potential transition to an offshore AP structure. You will work closely with finance leadership to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across all AP processes.

Stabilize and streamline current AP processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls.
Manage and reduce any existing backlog while implementing sustainable process improvements.
Develop, refine, and maintain clear SOPs and process documentation (including Loom/video-based guides where applicable).
Support knowledge transfer and onboarding for offshore or distributed AP teams.
Partner closely with the Controller and Finance team to support month-end close and reporting requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and system enhancements.
AP processes are stabilized, documented, and running efficiently.
Backlogs are cleared and workflows are optimized.
Offshore or distributed teams are successfully onboarded and productive.
Improved visibility, accuracy, and timeliness across AP operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in Accounts Payable leadership or management roles.
Background in consumer, retail, or eCommerce industries preferred.
Strong experience working with ERP systems (ideally NetSuite or similar platforms).
Demonstrated ability to step into complex or disorganized environments and quickly drive structure and improvements.
Experience supporting process transitions, offshoring, or scaling finance operations is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
