In this role, you will support a fintech client while contributing to the delivery of reliable, high-quality software in a fast-moving environment where strong collaboration and consistency matter.
We are seeking a QA Analyst (Automation) to join the QA team. This role is focused on ensuring product quality and reliability through the development and execution of automated test frameworks, while also supporting manual testing where needed. You will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to validate functionality, improve automation coverage, and help maintain high-quality releases across the platform.
Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Develop and execute automated test scripts across web, desktop, and API layers.
Convert manual test cases into efficient, maintainable automated tests.
Perform regression and smoke testing to support product stability.
Debug and enhance existing automation code and frameworks.
Support CI/CD integration for automation pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and TestNG.
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or JMeter.
Partner with engineering and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
Ensure the reliability and accuracy of automation test runs, including overnight executions.
Requirements
Core Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium or similar)
Experience with programming or scripting for test automation
Experience building and maintaining test scripts for web and desktop applications
Experience with API testing and related tools
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automation infrastructure
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
Experience partnering with engineering and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong written communication skills, particularly in documenting test cases and defects
Experience leading or contributing to automation efforts for complex features or modules
Dominican citizenship
