About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help scale a mission-critical platform used by organizations across multiple sectors, including nonprofits, government, and regulated environments. This is a foundational role where you will take ownership across the full stack — from mobile to backend systems — and contribute directly to architecture, performance, and product evolution. You won’t just execute tickets; you will help shape how the platform grows and scales in production. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment alongside product and engineering leadership, building real features used by real users. This role requires strong technical ownership, clear communication, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations. We are looking for engineers who move fast, think critically, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain full-stack applications using **TypeScript, Node.js, and React** * Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs * Work with **PostgreSQL** for data modeling and query optimization * Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using **AWS (ECS preferred)** * Own features end-to-end (design → development → production) * Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions * Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience * Use **AI tools** to accelerate development and enhance workflows Must have: * 5+ years of experience in **full-stack software engineering** * Strong experience with **TypeScript, Node.js, and React** * Experience building and shipping **complex features in production systems** * Proven track record of **owning and delivering technical initiatives end-to-end** * Experience contributing to **0 → 1 product development** * Experience working with **PostgreSQL or similar relational databases** * Hands-on experience with **cloud environments (AWS preferred, ECS is a plus)** * Proficiency using **AI tools in daily development workflows** * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally * Passion or interest in improving **mental healthcare outcomes** Nice to Have: * Experience in **HIPAA-regulated healthcare** or fintech environments * Experience integrating **AI/ML solutions in production**
