Take the necessary time to recover and feel better. 💸 **Refundable Annual Credit**– Spend it on the perks you love to enhance your work-life balance! 🤝 **Team-building activities**– Join us for coffee breaks, tech talks, and after-work gatherings to bond with your Nortal family and feel part of our vibrant community. 🥳 **Birthday day off** 🎂– Enjoy an extra day off during your birthday week to celebrate in style with friends and family! **About the project** As a**Senior Fullstack Node Engineer**,youwillcontribute across a polyglot, multi-repo ecosystem spanningmicrofrontendUI, serverless APIs, dedicated calculation services, shared business logic libraries, and infrastructure-as-code. **Howyou'llcontribute** ✅ Build andmaintainfeatures across the TP2.0 platform — from Reactmicrofrontendscreens to TypeScript serverless Lambdas andFastifyservices. ✅ Contribute to the shared TypeScript libraries consumed by both frontend and backend, including its C# code-generation pipeline. ✅ Write andmaintainunit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, Playwright, and K6. ✅ Develop and deploy infrastructure changes using Terraform targeting AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager). ✅ Participate in GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance, including security scanning and Terraform deployment pipelines. ✅ Collaborate with architects and product teams to evolve async job patterns (imports, report generation), calculation service APIs, and data layer abstractions. ✅ Use AI coding assistants effectively — writing precise prompts, reviewing AI-generated code critically, and applying outputs productively within a large existing codebase. ✅ Maintain and improve the legacy ASP.NET Framework 4.7.2 application as needed during migration. **This would make you the ideal candidate** ✨ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, ora relatedfield. ✨ 5+Yearsofexperience working with Node(v18+). ✨ 5+ Years of experience working withJavaScript/TypeScript. ✨ 5+ Years of experience working withReact 18and modern React patterns (hooks, context, query management). ✨ Working knowledge of C# / .NET (ideally both modern .NET 10 and legacy .NET Framework 4.7.2). ✨ Experience working withAWS Lambda + API Gateway (serverless handlers via AWS SAM / CloudFormation). ✨ Experience working withFastify(v5). Building RESTful APIs withTypeBoxschema validation and Swagger documentation. ✨ Hands-on experience working withNestJS. Working with module-based architecture,TypeORM, JWT auth, and Swagger. ✨ Experience working withPostgreSQL. Schema management, query optimization,TypeORMmigrations. ✨ Experience working withAWS SDK v3(S3, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, SNS, Athena). ✨ Proficiency in Microfrontendarchitecture. Experience with single-spa or similar composition patterns. ✨ Solid understanding ofMobX/MobX-State-Tree andTanStackReact Query for state and server-state management. ✨ Practical knowledge ofAG Grid (enterprise) and/orSpreadJS(spreadsheet-style UI components). ✨ Experience working withStyled-components, Webpack 5. ✨ Competency withTerraform. Writing andmaintainingAWS infrastructure modules. ✨ Background inDocker / Docker Compose. ✨ Experience working withGitLab CI/CD. ✨ Familiarity with AWS SAM CLI,LocalStackfor local Lambda/DynamoDB development. ✨ Demonstrated ability working withJest (unit + integration), Playwright (E2E), K6 (load/performance). ✨ Experience with Stryker mutation testing is a plus. ✨ Experience withMSW for API mocking in frontend tests. ✨ Experience with AI-Assisted Development. ✨ Hands-on experience with one or more AI coding tools: Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent. ✨ Ability to use AI assistants effectively within a large, multi-repo codebase — including context management, prompt engineering, and critically evaluating generated output. ✨ Comfort using AI tools for test generation, refactoring, documentation, and code review augmentation. ✨ Awareness of security and IP considerations when using AI tools with proprietary codebases. ✨Advanced English Level isrequiredfor this role,as you will work with US clients.
