We’re hiring Paralegals with experience in employment-based immigration to support U.S.-based law firms. Work closely with attorneys, manage case files, and contribute to successful client outcomes. Apply now! ✨⚖️
📋 What You’ll Do:
Draft and prepare immigration-related legal documents, including visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, and motions. 📝💻
Submit immigration petitions and applications to relevant agencies, meeting all deadlines. 📑⏱️
Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents. 📚🔍
Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, addressing inquiries and providing updates. 🌐🤝
Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for immigration cases. 🗂️✔️
Prepare and review immigration forms for visas and other processes. ✍️📋
Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to immigration cases. 🔄📎
Track visa deadlines and case progress, keeping attorneys informed. 📆✅
Requirements
✅ Our Ideal Candidate:
Has at least two years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk. 💼
Holds a law degree (or equivalent) from their home country. 🎓
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm. ⚖️
Is proficient in legal software like Clio or MyCase (preferred). 💻
Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, both spoken and written. 🗣️
Can work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision. 💪
Familiarity with immigration-specific databases and software. 📊
Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types, and forms (family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based immigration). 📋
Permanently resides in Latin America. 🌍
Owns a reliable laptop (Windows or Mac, 2017 or newer) with a stable internet connection. 💻
