Role Overview
The Travel Agent will assist clients in booking trips and creating customized itineraries that meet their travel needs. Using the company’s platform, this role manages travel arrangements, communicates primarily via WhatsApp, and ensures every detail of the booking process is handled with care, while building lasting client relationships and recommending personalized travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
BOOKING & TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
- Book travel trips, accommodations, and activities using the company’s booking platform
- Build detailed, tailored itineraries based on client preferences and needs
- Ensure seamless travel arrangements across flights, accommodations, and local experiences
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service
- Communicate clearly and promptly with clients via WhatsApp
- Follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction and provide ongoing support
SALES & RECOMMENDATIONS
- Upsell premium travel experiences and exclusive options aligned with client preferences
- Provide personalized recommendations to deliver high-quality travel experiences
- Stay informed on travel trends and destinations to enhance client guidance
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 1+ year of experience in a client-facing role (customer success, sales, or travel agent)
- Experience engaging with high purchasing power demographics is a plus
SKILLS
- Proficiency with travel booking platforms and software
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong ability to understand client needs and personalize recommendations
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Passion for travel and the travel industry
