JOB SUMMARY Pyyne is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with experience in the biopharma sector to work as a consultant for a US-based client out of our South American office(s). This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we rapidly expand our Data practice globally. The right candidate will be self sufficient, able to architect solutions independently, and will assist with ETL Pipelines, Azure Databricks Development, and Data Quality & Governance initiatives. This is a highly client-facing role and ideal for a great engineer who loves working with people. This is a remote role with the possibility for hybrid work for candidates in the Buenos Aires area. TECHNICAL SKILLS MUST HAVE CORE COMPETENCIES: - 5+ years data engineering experience - Expert-level Azure Databricks and Apache Spark - Advanced Python and PySpark development - Strong SQL skills (complex queries, optimization, data modeling) - Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale Nice to Have's: - Previous MDM platform implementation experience - Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry background - Experience with CRM integrations - Exposure to international data systems/SQL databases EXPERIENCE: - Proven track record with customer deduplication or entity resolution projects - Experience with fuzzy matching algorithms and probabilistic record linkage - Data quality framework implementation - Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and implementation BENEFITS - Monthly salary from $2,759 - $4,120 USD/mo commensurate with experience - Flexible remote-friendly working environment - Career development opportunities in a fast-growing company.
