Our client Looking for a high-performance Video Editor with strong direct response experience creating paid social ads for Meta and TikTok. You’ll be editing fast-paced, conversion-focused creatives for multiple DTC brands in a startup environment where speed, ownership, and creative instincts matter.
This role is ideal for someone who understands native social content, can independently turn raw assets into winning ads, and thrives in a high-output creative testing environment.
You’ll work closely with creative strategists and media buyers to produce scroll-stopping video ads optimized for performance.
Core Responsibilities
Edit high-converting paid social video ads (15–60 seconds) for Meta, TikTok, and Reels
Produce approximately 12–15 creative concepts weekly across multiple brands
Work from UGC footage, testimonials, product demos, B-roll, and existing creative assets
Create native, organic-first edits optimized for TikTok and Instagram Reels
Apply direct response editing frameworks including:
Scroll-stopping hooks
Benefit stacking
Credibility layering
Fast-paced retention editing
Strong CTA implementation
Deliver multiple creative variants for testing purposes
Source and organize footage from internal asset libraries
Use AI tools such as ElevenLabs, Descript, AI captioning/subtitle tools, and other AI-assisted workflows
Export platform-optimized creatives with proper aspect ratios, formatting, and safe zones
Collaborate in a fast-moving startup environment with quick turnaround expectations
Handle revisions efficiently while managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
Consistently delivering high-performing creative concepts at scale
Strong understanding of platform-native trends and editing styles
Ability to rapidly iterate based on performance feedback
High ownership and responsiveness in a startup environment
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience editing paid social ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms
Strong portfolio showcasing DTC/direct-response video editing work
Advanced English proficiency
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience using AI production tools such as ElevenLabs, Descript, or similar
Strong understanding of direct response creative frameworks and performance-focused editing
Proven experience creating native/organic-style social content
Ability to independently select footage and build narratives from raw assets and creative briefs
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Fast turnaround time on revisions and creative iterations
Reliable high-speed internet connection
Must be based in LatAm
Availability to overlap fully with US East Coast working hours (9am–6pm ET)
Available to start within 30 days
Creative strategy experience
Experience analyzing creative performance metrics
Familiarity with scaling DTC brands through paid social creative testing
Motion graphics or light animation skills
