Join the Innovation Frontier at Scalepex!** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Network Engineer** to design, implement, optimize, and maintain advanced telecommunications and enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Packet Core**, **SDN (Software-Defined Networking)**, **Signaling**, **Network Analytics**, and **Network Security**, with hands-on experience in modern carrier-grade or large-scale enterprise environments. This role requires a proactive professional who can troubleshoot complex network issues, ensure high availability, and contribute to network transformation initiatives. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design, deploy, and support **Packet Core** network elements in LTE/5G environments. * Implement and manage **SDN (Software-Defined Networking)** solutions and virtualized network infrastructures. * Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot **network signaling protocols** (e.g., SIP, Diameter, SS7, GTP). * Develop and maintain **network analytics** and performance monitoring solutions to optimize traffic flow and reliability. * Implement and enforce **network security policies**, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and segmentation strategies. * Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and root cause analysis. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new deployments and upgrades. * Document network architecture, procedures, and configurations. * Participate in on-call support rotation when required. ### **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * 3+ years of experience in network engineering (telecom or enterprise environments). * Strong knowledge of: * Packet Core technologies (EPC/5GC preferred) * SDN architectures and controllers * Signaling protocols (SIP, Diameter, SS7, GTP) * Network monitoring and analytics tools * Network security frameworks and best practices * Experience with routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS). * Familiarity with virtualization and cloud-native environments. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with 4G/5G mobile networks. * Knowledge of NFV (Network Function Virtualization). * Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, etc.). * Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform). * Contractor scheme * 100% Remote
