Master Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Master Data Engineer to join 99x Brazil's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven applications and AI initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and integrity of master data used across the organization. ### Responsibilities * Perform hands-on Item Master data cleanup and remediation * Analyze master data to identify: * Missing or incomplete attributes * Duplicate and inconsistent records * Data integrity and usability issues * Define and execute data quality and completeness checks * Support the establishment of clear data quality standards and definitions * Work with existing MDM and data quality tools (tool-agnostic) * Evaluate and recommend best-fit tools and approaches where gaps exist * Address high-priority, time-sensitive data issues impacting business operations * Execute remediation tasks and defined priorities * Document findings, fixes, and recommendations for ongoing improvement * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. * Strong experience in Master Data Management within enterprise IT environments * Hands-on experience with Item Master Data * Solid understanding of data quality dimensions: * Accuracy * Completeness * Consistency * Validity * Experience working with data quality, profiling, and remediation tools * Strong SQL and/or data manipulation skills * Ability to operate independently and accelerate delivery * Experience working as part of a nearshore delivery model * Your pick when it comes to employment models: CLT/PJ/Cooperativa; * We provide resources for you to grow and learn on the job, including online courses, mentoring, and the latest gen laptops; * A fully remote work environment with flexible working hours; * Bonus for any referrals that we end up hiring;
