Bilingual Dental Billing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced **Dental Billing Specialist** with a strong background in dental billing to manage the full billing cycle and support one of our clients’ dental practices. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with proven expertise in **Accounts Receivable (AR) management, insurance claim resolution, and denial management**. The ideal candidate will work closely with the **Chief Operating Officer (COO)** to ensure efficient billing operations, accurate claim submissions, and timely reimbursement from insurance providers. ### Key Responsibilities * Manage the **full dental billing cycle**, including claim submission, payment posting, and AR follow-up. * Monitor and maintain **Accounts Receivable (AR)** to ensure timely collections and minimize outstanding balances. * Review, correct, and resolve **aging insurance claims**. * Handle **claim resubmissions, appeals, and denial management**, identifying trends and implementing solutions to reduce future denials. * Verify **patient insurance benefits** and ensure coverage information is accurate prior to treatment. * Submit and track **pre-authorizations and treatment authorizations** as required by insurance providers. * Accurately apply **dental treatment codes** when preparing and submitting insurance claims. * Maintain compliance with **industry regulations, payer requirements, and internal billing policies**. * **Minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. dental billing**. * **Dentrix experience is required (non-negotiable).** * Strong experience managing **Accounts Receivable (AR)**. * Proven ability to resolve **aging claims, insurance denials, and appeals**. * Strong **attention to detail and organizational skills**. * Excellent **communication skills**, with the ability to collaborate with team members and executive leadership. ### ***Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) offering a pay rate of $7–$8 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The work schedule Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM PST.***
