This role is focused on managing core accounting operations in a fast-paced, remote-first environment within a specialized healthcare and aesthetics-related business. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy across accounts payable and receivable processes, supporting financial integrity, and maintaining smooth coordination between ERP systems and QuickBooks Online. Accountabilities:In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily accounts receivable and payable operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial workflows.
Process vendor payments and customer receipts accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile and transfer financial data between ERP systems and QuickBooks Online
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances with customers
Resolve billing issues, credit discrepancies, and payment disputes
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across general ledger accounts
Support month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting activities
Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and operational efficiency
Maintain accurate and organized financial records across systems and platforms
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong systems experience and the ability to manage high-volume financial operations in a remote environment.
Proven experience in accounting, specifically accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Mandatory experience in healthcare, medical device, cosmetic, or aesthetics-related industries
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ERP accounting systems
Experience handling high-volume transactions with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve discrepancies independently
Excellent communication skills for vendor and customer-facing interactions
Prior remote work experience using tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or Asana
Experience working with US or UK-based companies (required)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously
